The next guided walk will take place on Saturday 11th October 2025, We will meet at 11am at the Hale End Green IG8 9LN. Hale End Green is the triangle of grass near the Royal Oak pub at the junction of Oak Hill and Hale End Road.

The walk is entitled ‘Lost property’. This area is the site of the Saxon Hamlet of Hale End. From the 1700s onwards a number of minor mansions and large houses were built in Hale End. Sadly none of these now survive. Susan Snell will lead this walk.

Walks are free for members and £5 for non-members.
